Toronto, ON, Canada (4E Sports) - Toronto Raptors starting point guard Kyle Lowry will miss the rest of the regular season after he undergoes right wrist surgery Tuesday.
According to the Raptors, Lowry is scheduled to undergo a procedure to remove "loose bodies" from his right wrist.
The surgery will sideline Lowry between 4 to 6 weeks but the Raptors expect him to back for the playoffs.
A 24th overall pick by the Memphis Grizzlies in 2006, Lowry is averaging a career-high 22.8 points, 6.8 assists and 4.7 rebounds this season.
The Raptors (36-24) are third in the Eastern Conference, behind the Cleveland Cavaliers and the Boston Celtics.
