Tracy McGrady, Chris Webber headline 2017 Hall of Fame finalists

New Orleans, LA, United States (4E Sports) - Former NBA superstars Tracy McGrady and Chris Webber spearhead 14 personalities who made it as finalists of the 2017 Naismith Memorial Basketball Hall of Fame.

Aside from the two, others who made it were former Golden state Warriors point guard Tim Hardaway , former Milwaukee Bucks superstar Sidney Moncrief , Villanova head coach Rollie Massimino and Connecticut star Rebecca Lobo.

Also making it to the finals were NBA referee Hugh Evans, Baylor women's coach Kim Mulkey , Kansas coach Bill Self and two-time NBA champion coach Rudy Tomjanovich .

High school coach Robert Hughes, Notre Dame women's coach Muffet McGraw, former Wisconsin coach Bo Ryan and 10-time AAU national champion Wayland Baptist University also made it to the list.

A seven-time All-Star with seven All-NBA selections, McGrady finished as the league's scoring champion twice (2002-03, 2003-04).

A former No. 1 overall pick out of the University of Michigan, Webber finished his career with averages of 20.7 points, 9.8 rebounds, 4.2 assists, 1.4 steals and 1.4 blocks per game.

The class of 2017 will be officially unveiled April 3 at the Final Four in Phoenix, Arizona.
