London, England, United Kingdom (4E Sports) - Richard Stearman and Andreas Weimann each scored in the first half to carry Wolverhampton Wanderers to a 2-1 win over Liverpool at Anfield , ensuring a spot in the fifth round of the FA Cup
Stearman scored in the opening minute while Weimann made it a 2-0 lead in the 41st minute as the Wolves made it to the fifth round for the first time since 2008.
"It's incredible to get that early goal," Stearman said. "We said we needed to start fast because we thought they would come out of the blocks. For us to get a goal so early was an incredible feeling."
Divock Origi scored in the 86th minute for Liverpool, whose last three Emirates FA Cup losses at Anfield were to Championship opposition.
"It was a very bad performance," said Liverpool manager Jurgen Klopp . "We started badly and it didn't really get better."
"There aren't a lot of good things to say about this game and it's difficult to explain. The start immediately gave them confidence and we were obviously not ready in this moment," he added.
Meanwhile, Lincoln City barged into the FA Cup fifth round proper with a 3-1 win over Brighton & Hove Albion at Sincil Bank.
Alan Power, Fikayo Tomori , Theo Robinson scored for Lincoln City while Richard Towell put Brighton on the board in the 24th minute.
In other matches, Oxford United beat Newcastle United, 3-0; Manchester City blanked Crystal Palace, 3-0; Chelsea crushed Brentford , 4-0; Middlesbrough edged Accrington Stanley, 1-0; Burnley beat Bristol City, 2-0; and Huddersfield Town defeated Rochdale , 4-0.
