Iran issued an arrest warrant for US President Donald Trump over the killing of top Iranian general Qassem Soleimani.
Soleimani was killed during a US drone strike near Baghdad International Airport last January.
Ali Alqasimehr, the attorney general of Tehran accused Trump and 35 others of murder and terrorism for Soleimani's death
"36 individuals who have been involved or ordered the assassination of Hajj Qassem, including the political and military officials of the US and other governments, have been identified and arrest warrants have been issued for them by the judiciary officials and red alerts have also been issued for them via the Interpol," said Alqasimehr.
Interpol, did not respond to Tehran's request and have not reported discussing the matter with member states.
Trump's administration has also not made any comment on Iran's latest announcement.
